Refund policy

For products purchased online from Matilda and Clancy and delivered within Australia we accept returns for change of mind within 60 days from date of purchase or if faulty. Please note for change of mind returns items must be unworn, unwashed and with the original hygiene protectors, tags, and labels labels attached.


Please ensure swimwear bottoms are tried on over underwear briefs. As for hygiene reasons we reserve the right to refuse exchanges or returns on items where it is obvious that this has not been done. In this case we only offer returns on swimwear bottoms that have been tried on without underwear if the item is faulty.


If you purchased a Matilda and Clancy piece from another retailer, please consult that retailer’s applicable policies. We are not responsible for items purchased from other retailers.

REFUNDS

All faulty items will be fully inspected before a refund can be issued. The product must be sent within 3 business days of making a claim for faulty goods with tracking number. We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund once we have received your return.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 business days.


EXCHANGES

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the faulty item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


DAMAGES AND ISSUES

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
